Most clients require a series of 4–6 sessions spaced four weeks apart, though the exact number varies by concern, skin type and response. Your clinician will create a personalized plan and adjust settings for optimal clearance and safety.

Most clients report mild discomfort, often described as snapping rubber band sensations. We use cooling tips and can apply topical numbing on request to increase comfort. Sensation is brief and treatments are well tolerated.

Ideal candidates have fair to olive skin tones with issues like acne, visible vessels, redness, sun damage or unwanted hair. Not all skin types suit IPL; a consultation and skin assessment ensure safe, effective treatment planning.

Expect temporary redness, mild swelling or darkening of pigmented spots that flake and fade. Most side effects resolve within days to two weeks. Avoid sun exposure and follow aftercare instructions for optimal healing and outcomes.

Results vary by concern: redness and pigmentation can improve within 1–2 weeks, hair reduction becomes noticeable after several sessions, and acne control builds over the series. Best outcomes appear after completing the recommended treatment plan.

Contraindications include pregnancy, active skin infections, recent tanning or sunburn, and use of photosensitizing medications. Recent isotretinoin use and certain medical conditions may also disqualify candidacy. A thorough medical history and consultation are required.
